WHO WE ARE
LIT Conversations is a career readiness, professional speaker series that has a mission to create a space for every student to step into their full potential. Today’s youth face more challenges than ever before. Stress, education inequality, and mental health issues are on the rise. Young adults need relatable role models to put things in perspective. They need someone who has walked the path before to guide them to new possibilities.
Our organization started as a group of young professionals who wanted to lend our experiences to inspire the next generation. Our diverse speakers share their challenges and triumphs in their professional journey. These conversations are highly interactive and encourage participation from the entire class.
Students leave the conversation with new ideas, tangible skills, and the eagerness to engage with their communities. Successful career planning starts early and LIT Conversations is here to jumpstart that process to make students believe in themselves and their dreams.
HOW IT WORKS
1. You Select a Theme
We have a selection of themes for you to choose from for your speaker series. Along with a theme, you also customize the series duration and the speakers
2. We Design the Conversations
Once the details of your series are decided, our team works with the speakers to custom tailor your experience
3. Everyone Participates in the Discussions
On the day of the events, everyone joins the discussion prepared to participate
4. Attendees Engage With Their Community
Students leave the conversation with newfound confidence. They begin to develop a deeper understanding of the difference they can make in their communities
5. We Provide You With Support Materials
We follow up with support materials for you to use during and after our conversations
